Andrew holds a bachelors in Information Systems. He brings balance to the dynamic brother tag team. If Desmond is the visionary, then Andrew is the integrator. He works tirelessly in ensuring the company is ticking like clockwork – with his focus on IT, operations, compliance, finance and legal.
Fun Fact:
Andrew is often on his next food hunt. His love for food and wine has brought him to many countries in search for the best food (pre-covid).
Desmond Leong

About
Desmond’s obsession with community and communication structures started when he tried to teach people how to trade. After trying every application out there, he figured the only way to do it was to build one himself. Drawing from his experience conducting over 300 webinars and speaking to over 80,000 traders, he started building Genesiv using the profits he generated from his award-winning investment research firm.
His unique advantage comes from his experience building a business and working with the largest bizdev, marketing, and compliance departments – where he learned that a community platform has to strike a balance between what the users want and what the businesses, creators, and entrepreneurs want.
Fun Fact:
Desmond is a football addict and plays Fifa all the time – consistently being placed in Division 1 for the past 10 releases. If you’re into Fifa, hit him up at his PSN leahdacat (yes, Leah is his cat he uses to maul his opponents)
Rob Gudipudi

Rob has over 15 years of experience as a full-stack developer. He previously worked at IBM, Mahindra Satyam, GAP and PEGA Systems. He has been working with Desmond for over 5 years and is instrumental in both the planning and building of the Genesiv product.
At IBM, he was instrumental in large global scale ERP implementation for pharmaceutical giants such as Johnson & Johnson, AstraZeneca, Merck. At Manhindra Satyam, he rose up the ranks quickly to lead a multi faceted 80 member team to support and roll out telecom software.
He has managed global teams across India, USA, China, and UK on various ERP retail and financial systems design + implementation for GAP, PEGA Systems and several other global enterprises.
Fun Fact:
In his free time, Rob enjoys spending time with his family, cooking for them and singing, although he admits not everyone enjoys his singing.

Mike is a music teacher with a passion for sound engineering, music production, and guitar luthiery. He loves connecting with his fellow musicians and coaching his young students to help them get to where they want to be. Mike enjoys any kind of hands-on project that requires creative troubleshooting and prefers to see immediate, tangible results. Nowadays, with his artistic skills as his anchor, he has begun venturing into the sea of web development.
Fun Fact:
Mike used to be miserable but ever since his ducks adopted him, everything’s coming up quacky!

Jia Xuan is a fun-loving designer who enjoys uncovering life’s opportunities — always trying to live life to the fullest by experiencing new hobbies, places, and food! She often tries hard unsuccessfully to hide her love for alcohol.

Friends call him “Cousin Itt” from The Addams Family because his face is 80% hair. He previously worked in electrical engineering until he decided to live in ‘hard’ mode. He quit his already stable job in the middle of the pandemic to pursue his passion for coding.

Saif is always ‘randomly’ checked in all airports somehow… He’s better than Desmond at Fifa, but don’t tell Des that 😉

Tanya is a creator, a hard worker, and everything in between! She thrives in creative environments and loves mixing work and fun! The only things on her mind at any given time is food, her puppy (who is 5 years old, but will always be a puppy to her), and whatever song is stuck in her head at the moment.
Fun Fact:
Tanya ate a tarantula once as a dare. She describes the worst part about it as being the hair and the texture as it broke apart in her mouth!

Vishal is a food connoisseur who’s always seeking out new food experiences. He is a fan of all good eats from street foods, to fine dining.

Asni is a designer who loves traveling and learning about different cultures, appreciating how they approach problems in different ways. She enjoys going to non-English speaking events and experiencing what it’s like to connect without words.

Asni speaks 5 different languages including ASL, and is also a huge cat-lover!
